Curriculum

At SRC we understand how important it is for children to have a strong foundation that will have a real impact on a child’s future learning.

The Early Years’ Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS) is embedded into our practice. We ensure children in our care have an environment that is inviting and stimulating.

The practitioners provide a range of activities which cater for children’s developmental needs working towards the early years’ outcomes.

We recognise every child’s achievements, and believe that strong, secure relationships between practitioners and children are crucial.

At SRC Community Nursery , we use the EYFS Framework to plan a wide range of activities based on the children’s own interest.

Your child will be learning skills, acquiring new knowledge and demonstrating their understanding through 7 areas of the learning and development areas (EYFS).

The areas of development are:
